Well, it’s been years, but I’m back to clear my stash. Incidentally, much of my stash is the same as it was 4 years ago 😂

I’ve gotten much better at not buying, through kind of forced circumstances. I left my career as a lawyer (maybe I should update my username!) and went self employed 18 months ago. There’s been some lean months so I’ve been cutting back - there’s next to no stash of items like shower gel and shampoo, but more body lotion and skin products than you could shake a stick at!

I’m identifying products to UU first; lots of miniatures and part-used to hand!

Hi Roguey, good to hear from you. My stash is worse than 4 years ago, but I am now happy "shopping my stash" instead of buying more, light bulb very firmly switched on these days:D

I have used it, it's fine as a shampoo. I also sometimes use it to clean my make up brushes.

Hi Pinkfluffybabe, glad to hear it's fine for me to use on myself. I don't wear makeup so this wouldn't be an option for me. Will start using is then as my current shampoo has pretty much run out.
    Did owe £9,951.96

    UU:

Jour d'automne hair spray: WNBA, beauty box item and only used to retexturise my curly wigs so don't know how effective it is.

Sainsbury's cotton wool pads - WNBA, worst brand I've used.

    Ins:

    Primark top coat & base
    1 x Lidl dentalux toothpaste
2 x Lidl cotton wool pads

It seems that I'm now down to buying essentials but it's so boring :-(

I have used baby shampoo on my hair and it was fine very mild. I also used it for clothes washing. I had some organic brand and it needed clean hair as it would not remove a lot of build up or oil.

My stash is looking worse than when I started as it has gone from basic to more expensive items. I have less cheap shampoo and it has been replaced with ogx and premium sulphate free shampoo. The severe head scratching and dry skin on the forehead, ears and eyebrows are gone but the sash has increased.

I have reduced the hoard of random freebies- I just don't accept anything that i will not happily pay for as something can be used by someone else is a burden to me. I try and avoid samples unless it is some thing i really think it will work for me.

I might never clear the stash but if i can use and replace with things I know that suit me and my pocket. Sometimes certain expensive products are worth it and other times not so, I find here helps me be more reasoned in my purchases.

    Welcome back roguey.

Lynseydee - I've used baby shampoo too and it's fine but like saving said it won't remove product build up.

    Hi Dolly

Thanks, I don't use products on my hair so shouldn't be a problem. It'll only be until we've used up the bottle and a half and then I can go back to using normal shampoo.

Hi everyone. I have resisted urging to buy any advent calendars this year. I still have products from the last 2 years and they don't look so different anyway.

I have UU'ed Merumaya Luxury Facial Wash. This was my 3 tube I think. Give this brand a try - you will love it.

I bought Japanfusion Cream Cleanser from Beauty Pie and it is amazing. I'm loving Beauty Pie recently.

LF beauty box has arrived and I have 5 INs. I was expecting a more Christmas theme but i was wrong - I prefer this box than glittery make-up stuff. Products are:
    This Works Sleep Spray
    LF beauty blender
    GrowGorgeus Scalp Detox
    Illamasque Hydrating Veil
Karl Lagerfield for Model Co Brow Pen

I haven't managed to get into Christmas spirit this year. Nothing I see at shops inspires or excites me either. I am in two minds about No7 star gift. Is anyone buying it?

I finished the kaeson calming face mask , it was a moisturizer but dried out at the end. I added so oil to make it liquid again for the last application. It was very cheap and nice but i have loads to use up before even considering buying anything new. .
