Hi all
Sorry there are so many posts on here so I know somewhere my question will be answered but hopefully as I cant see this as a thread it might also be informative to someone else
I had my CCJ Set Aside in court on Monday 26th November
- How do the court tell the company/s that hold the credit files to remove the CCJ
- How long will this take
- Can I do anything to speed things up please
Many kind thanks
Alex

you may well have sertacide , but it is just that , the company can now represent there case and start new actions
did the judge not give them "x" days to send new paperwork ?
I have not gone thru your previous posts to try and see what the set aside was for0 -
Hi
No. The company who had taken the CCJ out got their figures wrong and it was also not served either as my property was rented out. Also what I did actually owe I had paid in time so there was miss-understanding all round
The company who obtained the CCJ accepted all this before court too and supported my claim to have the CCJ Set Aside and supplied this in writing to the court which they accepted
Kind regards

The court claim process has been pushed back to give you the opportunity to present your defence. The court should have given you a timescale for this - I would expect 14 or 28 days.
If you default on this the creditor will ask for judgement again with a new date.
Edit: sorry,, cross-posted/ This was a set aside with consent. Did the claimant agree to drop the claim?
There would have been a consent order saying something like
It is ordered that
1. The judgement be set aside
2. The claim be dismissed
3. There be no order for costs0 -
Yes the claimant agreed to support my application to Set Aside and no money is owing now either as what was actually owed was already paid and they confirmed that in writing to the judge as well0

I cant remember about the below. Its the only blemish on my record so I was just relieved to hear it was being Set Aside
