You haven't hi-jacked my thread HHD :) It's helpful and also interesting to read how things work for other people.

£500 plus bills is a lot isn't it. DD's is £420 per month, more than what I was originally told, but that's because it's been worked out over 12 months rather than every 4 weeks.

I was a bit dubious when she told me they were allowed £60 for gas and £60 for electric per month but it's true. Also water, TV license and internet is included so I think it's a pretty good lease.

£3,000 is a big chunk of money to hand over but I suppose it's worth thinking about, as you're definitely going to get it back if it's DS that's paying you. Are you wondering if fate has played a hand in this with your PPI repayment. :D;) xx

    Morning Everybody :)

    Day 14/31, NSD's 5/15, Prolific £4.70 cleared, £0 pending, Cash for 8th-14th March £9.41.

I'm really hoping a Prolific will come through soon. That 30p to cashing out is driving me mad. So near, yet so far :rotfl:

DS is costing us a bit this month. £100 for a residential weekend then £20 for a science trip and last night he asked for some new clothes. To be fair he never asks for clothes and he is due some so I can't begrudge the request, but I think I'll be waving goodbye to another £100. However, new trainers are included in this - proper ones, not cheap clickerty clack ones like mine :rotfl::rotfl:

Not planning on going out or spending any money today. Hope you all have a good one. Xx

Ending today with another NSD and a survey for 60p which will take me over the cash out threshold when it's cleared

Sat watching Parliament again, although I'm not really sure why any more. It's like playing a game with a child where you let them keep throwing the dice until they get the number they need and then letting them think they've won the game fair and square. :( xx
  • That's an excellent description of how parliament is working at the moment  I can't bear to watch it so I'm firmly burying my head in the sand :rotfl:.

HHD - I'd like to bury my head in the sand but I'm like a nosy meerkat and keep popping up to see what's going on :rotfl:

    Day 15/31, NSD's 5/15, Prolific £4.70 cleared, £2.10 pending, Cash for 15th-21st March £26.75

I had £9.41 left over from last week so I've added £2 each to savings, caravan, charity and Christmas. The extra £1.41 has gone into CC bonus payments.

Which means Week 3 of March pots look like:

    Savings £74.50
    DS Savings £30
    Christmas £37
    Caravan £45.50
    Dogs £75!
    Hairdressers £10
    Christmas Charity £8
    Credit Card extra payment £40
    CC Bonus Money £3.81

It's going to be a NSD so I'll hit my halfway marker today. :)

    Have a good Friday. xx

It's great to see you having leftovers again and the bonus that your pots are seeing because of it :) Your dogs are lucky, lucky dogs! haha

Are you furiously refreshing Prolific to see if anything has cleared yet? Or is it just me that does that?

Thanks Beanie :) Next week's spends will have to last me 10 days so if there's anything left over this week I'll carry it forward rather than putting it in the pots.

HG - the dogs fur cuts cost more than my hair cuts :o I do keep checking Prolific and I'm happy to report I've just got in from the school run, checked yet again :rotfl: and I'm over my £5 threshold. I did a £2.50 survey a couple of hours ago and there was a problem with checking out so I sent a quick e-mail off and that's been cleared already. :T So I'm cashing out £7.20.

We're away to the van this weekend. It's very windy but not raining so that's good. I'm taking the laptop so will probably be on here at some point but if not hope you all have a great weekend. :) xx
  • Have a lovely weekend at the van TF2 :). I hope you have dry weather. I have to say that I'm sick to death of this wind!
