    Morning Everybody :)

Can't quite believe we're in October already. Thought I'd do a first of the month round up to keep me on track.

I've got £1.28 cleared in Prolific but I've had nothing from them for at least 2 weeks now although I'm not on the laptop as much so could be missing them popping up.

RH stands at 385/1500 and Shoppix at 2325/3200

I had £7.20 left in my purse so I've split that 50/50 between Christmas and Christmas Splurge pots. It would have been more but DD worked a late shift and text me to say she'd finished and was just about to get the bus home. Funnily enough I don't worry too much about her walking around Manchester but I didn't like the thought of her walking from the bus stop to her house at that time of night so stood the cost of a taxi home for her. It was less than £10 so worth it for peace of mind especially as even then she didn't get in til gone midnight.

Spends for the month are in and after filling the pots with the usual amounts I've got £47 per week left over.

I'm going to try and get DS's stocking done and dusted this month. I know what I'm buying so it shouldn't be too hard. Just need to track a couple of things down on-line.

And I think that's about it really. Hope you all have a lovely day and manage to stay dry :) xx

I would have paid for the taxi too, it's definitely worth it for peace of mind :).

Good luck with buying the stocking fillers.

I haven't had much from PA lately, but then I've been forgetting to check very frequently which doesn't help!

Thanks HHD and Beanie :) I was fine with the taxi until I told hubby the morning after and he said "what after we've been watching The Confession". Don't know if you're watching it but it's a true story about a taxi driver who murdered women he'd picked up. :( It hadn't even crossed my mind, but you can't think too much about everything can you, you can only do what you think is best at the time. xx

(Even if you find out afterwards that it wasn’t. You get my drift).

Thanks LABMUM. Hubby's comment was tongue in cheek but it did stop me in my tracks for a few seconds. There's only so many bases you can cover though isn't there :o xx
