AS you have found out, a parking company ( in the usual PPC sense) can not in anyway prevent someone parking in your own bay.
The only real solution is controlled access through lockable bollards/gates etc.
one option to move the vehicle would be with some dollys, as used by garage mechanics to get vehicles in and out of tight spacesFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Why do people move into places where a PPC infests the site?
Serious question. What were you expecting? Peace and harmony and no £100 fines?
Hmmm...whose car do you reckon that is, who planted it there? Think about it.
You need to move. Of COURSE they target residents.
I've said that to everyone else like you, zillions of threads. I believe (and actually, I hope) that this pariah of a scam industry which wrecks residential car parks, starts affecting re-sale prices of flats, then the landowners will start to take notice. People need to be more aware of this scam, stay away and simply boycott any flat with a scammer on site, just bin any adverts where there is a PPC in the car park and tell letting agents why you wont view those ones (next time).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You surely don't mean that the scammers would plant their own cars to get money? Surely not. Responsible companies like these are the salt of the earth.:rotfl:I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Hopefully this OP doesn't live in or around Cardiff. :eek:0

Not such a daft idea. You could pursue them for trespass. Normally that would be only a nominal sum. But if the OP ends up having to pay UKPC £100, then that it the loss that could be claimed against the errant driver.Did you make a note of the registration number of the car in your bay?
If so, you can get the keeper's details from the DVLA for a few pounds.
Then do what the PPCs do...
Send an invoice to the RK of the errant vehicle.

£100 plus the time at £19 per hour to appeal, etc.0

I wonder what would happen if the car could be traced back to the PPC.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
