I tend to try and use a different payment card if I am buying the same item for shopomums. And I use a different phone for each account. Having said that I had to just go and check that yesterdays receipts have all been accepted

That is the 1k bonus offer - the 2k newsletter sign up offer was ending at 12.30 according to their website (https://www.gwr.com/destinations-and-events/email-subscribe-offer) though the webpage is still live, so may have been extended?

Hmm - I have now inherited DWs old phone as she has a shiny new one, I did do a factory reset but still it is a possibility. And yes she and I did both purchase our Robinsons drinks using my card as it was quicker than her entering her Tardis handbag to get her card out....

she needs one of those metal card holders you can get from Amazon for a few pounds, they are not very sturdy but at least you can keep the cards together and its easier to find at the bottom of a Mary poppins Gladstone bag
