With regards to the 1k offer it does state:

But then there's nothing in the terms to state this which I would say holds more weight.

If you are not totally sure about gin what about gin liquers? These have a lower alchol percentage, 20% and you can add prosecco if you like.

On the dark side someone was saying that Asda have 2 gin liquers on offer down from £12 to £10 so that's what I am getting

We were in Aldi today and they have some Christmas gins in this week - also Sloe gin was £9.99 and ours also had Gingerbread gin same price - each store will have different supplies, the bottles all look lovely
Aldi is also a good place to get tonic

And yet in the even smaller print at the bottom of the email it also states: "1,000 Nectar points applies to all GWR Advance Single fares booked via link above. "

I like the purple ones but its the bright orange ones they have set their hearts on - I think its ghastly but what do I know.
(also they have these very naughty kittens running amuck so I am reluctant to spend even £6 on mugs while they are at this stage. Ours are not much better, endless times a cat has hurled itself onto my desk and slid into a steamy hot mug of tea ....)
