when prepping, please, rotate your stock? It was heartbreaking seeing so many tins go west. The bathroom cupboard contents have mostly been bagged for the refuge but the tins, dear gods…

Well I managed to get up, dressed, water my seedlings, planted some cucumbers, lasted about an hour then flaked out! Gone back to bed as I’m worn out! Don’t think this will be a quick fix😢

Don't try to do too much too soon.  It may set you back and you don't want long covid by rushing your recovery. It's frustrating I know but your body will appreciate it in the long run. Perhaps try working a shorter period of time before you rest. That way you may be able to do a bit more later in the day. I speak from personal experience.

take things really slowly, I am 7 weeks after first testing positive and still having to pace myself as otherwise exhaustion hits!

I think most folks seem to be too concerned with what's happening now to care about a few months away, however we're still quietly squirreling stuff away for next winter & beyond.

Like a dog prepping is for life not just for Christmas.

Prepping has been done and we are now living with shortages.  Not a week goes by now without being able to get something or other so just live and mange without.  Less journeys made because of petrol prices and covid. I think most people have batten down the hatches. Prepare for trouble

Judging by the amount of people out and about eating and drinking this weekend I’m not sure they are battening down the hatches.

Spent all morning helping DD take 3 loads of rubbish from her garden to the tip. She's worked hard to clear it up so she can make the garden just how she wants it.
I've baked this afternoon,  cheaper than buying, and made rock buns, a sandwich cake and 2 fruit loaves. Should keep DH going for a while!
