All I can say is that clearly nothing is sacred to this government, everything is for sale. Medical records should be between you & your doctors. End of. I will certainly be opting out.Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)10

Anyone laughing at your prepping has misunderstood your investment planning. Today's FT article is a bit chilling. [That was 'Global food prices post biggest jump in decade' and it isn't just food, it's timber up 10%, concrete up 10%, copper & steel up as much as 20%, and of course fuel feeling more expensive after the amazing low spell. I summarizse as yep, it's pay-walled for me too but I was shocked.]10

Even if you opt out with the form you still have to opt out on that particular website to stop sharing anything that was previosuly shared. So not only do you have to opt out on a paper form, you have to opt out on a website too.

I used jk0's linkie yesterday (many thanks for that!) to get to the opt out form, it wouldn't print (my software is antiquated, though my computer is bang up to date) so I actually put my replies onto the form, I'll be sending it to my GP Centre today. And since the change date is 1 July, I'm going to be reading everything I can about it the moment it pops up. Thank you all.2023: the year I get to buy a car10

Well that was interesting. I just phoned my GP practice, since the form I filled in didn't have my handwritten signature on, I wasn't sure they'd accept it. The receptionist was incredibly informative - in that the situation has been foisted on them without their knowledge or cooperation, they've heard of a cutoff on 23rd June, but they really don't know. They've had dozens of patients like me phoning in saying they want to opt out. The practice manager is **attending** (not holding!) a webinar next week to try to get more information about it, so her advice to me was to hold on to the form I'd managed to track down (thanks again, jk0) and ring again in 7 - 10 days. Blimey.2023: the year I get to buy a car13
