SiClist - another lined up in date order paracetamol holder here, & who used your pragmatic paracetamol requirements algorithm to cover everyone. I only caught flak til I shared your impeccable logic. At which point even the young immortal looked pensive.11 -
Oh no, Daz, hope you won't be too sore tomorrow! What a nasty thing to happen.
I'm another who lines up paracetamol etc. in date order, though with two young ladies in the house painkillers rarely survive a beyond couple of months... Olbas oil, however, is another story; there's still some in the cupboard dated BB4 Nov '97. And it smells just fine!

Daz, hope you're ok and make sure you go to see the doctor if you need to. You might need some painkillers for a couple of days. Take care of yourself.2025 Fashion on the ration

Daz when I fall off a horse I usually land on my shoulder if I fail to tuck my arm and roll. It HURTS! I have had a soak in a warm bath with Epsom salts, don't know why they help maybe psychosomatic, but hell anything that helps the pain and bruising. If I think I am going to get a lot of bruising I also take arnica along with Ibuprofen. Hope you feel better soon and rest up, if it doesn't get better go for an x-ray you may have cracked a bone.

interesting about the paracetamol. The same would be true of other paracetamol based medicines (e.g. cold and flu tablets). It's made me realise our stores could probably do with a little reinforcing, for the event that we were both struck down simultaneously.
In a similar vein, I want to put together a stash of 'ping cuisine' meals. Packet rice and a tin of curry/chilli, shelf stable filled pasta and a jar of stir in sauce etc, so that if we are both ko'd we have a few super easy meals on standby that can be whipped up in less than 10 minutes with minimal effort.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...14 -
Thankfully we still have a good stash of paracetemol and ibuprofen, but I did want to add one pack of paracetemol this week as we had used a box. All options sold out with tesco for delivery. Oh well, will try again next week.February wins: Theatre tickets11

I haven’t been able to get any Paracetamol yet. I’ve been for a Covid test this morning so won’t be going out til results are neg. One of my sons and family tested pos for Covid on Thurs and another son and wife are awaiting results. I babysat for them both last week as one of them had a 40th birthday. My symptoms are headache, cough, the runs and feeling generally unwell so just as I need Paracetamol I can’t get any.14
