Love a rumtopf - one year I used some of the fruit in a flan. The men of the family had a slice each and were absolutely pickled!13

I used to make jars of prunes soaked in grappa and sugar. Used as a digestive aid after a meal..Also very alcoholic but it's less frowned upon to be drunk from digestive aids than wine
This also goes for grappa in coffee, it's digestive....

This also goes for grappa in coffee, it's digestive....I like the idea of them soused in alcohol 😃I prefer alcohol in food – I’ve never been a big drinker but alcohol has medicinal qualities 😃 I’m a big believer in the occasional aperitif to sharpen the appetite 😃11
