The tomatoes are coming in now for us, though they are fighting off some disease or another. In other news, DD starting coughing in her sleep on Sat night. And then woke with a snotty nose and a high temp. So she was tested yesterday morning. Keeping fingers crossed it's just a normal cold. She did way better with the test than I thought she would, and it is nose swab only for children (no throat swab), but both nostrils rather than just one. Awaiting results still. But testing centre was busier. She is doing fine. The coughing has eased off, but she is very congested, and the temp is back within normal range. So hoping it is something else.
Either way, DD is pretty much back to normal now, thankfully.
Good to hear your DD is back to normal now anyway 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,12014 -

Good to hear your DD is back to normal now anyway 😊Thank you. And yes, I suspect you are right. DD as right as rain, whereas I have ear infection and labrynthitis again. I hate it. Started Sat night. Luckily, I had held onto some of the anti dizziness tablets from last time in case it ever reared it's ugly head again, and that saw me through until yesterday when I could speak to GP. Accompanied by headache, neck ache and ear ache this time, so that's been fun.Oh well, onwards and upwards. A staggered return to the office starts in September, where I will be back 3 days a week, and working from home 2 days a week. Makes me a bit anxious, but it will also be lovely to see colleagues face to face again, so I am focusing on that.February wins: Theatre tickets13 -

I’ll have to worry about that next week, for this week I have achieved getting over my phobia of blood. One of the catheters came out which was slightly messy but I didn’t freak out over being sprayed with someone else’s blood. In fact, I was so remarkably calm, like so many other people, you wouldn’t know I was fighting a phobia inside 😃15 -
Well done 3second, that was very brave of you12

It's much cooler here at the moment due to the very much needed rain and yesterday we lifted some of the main crop potato crop which got frosted earlier on in the growing season and was set back drastically. The potatoes are smaller than I'd expect but it's been a funny year with either too much water or not enough water on the plots and I don't think these will keep well so having discovered that cooked potato slices dehydrate very well indeed this batch are going to be cooked and dehydrated today, they end up looking like shiny see through peppermint boiled sweeties, to use in stews and soups in the winter. Having them in a big jar will take up less room in the store than a sack of fresh potatoes will.14

Very useful addition to the store cupboards, I'll be dehydrating more this week / weekend.15 -
Does anyone Rumptopf? I’m getting seriously bored with soft and tasteless apples but they are coming out of my ears. For much of lockdown I was getting five a week in my government box but, with the damaged teeth I wasn’t able to eat that many. I have two trees nearby with Apple is falling all over the ground, and when I got back from the hospital yesterday there was a carrier bag of apples and other bits and pieces hanging on my doorstep.I’ve made apple butter, and apple mincemeat, and I frozen a lot but I still have at least 15 in my fridge.11
