Well said GQ. The politicians round here don't knock on my door any more... When they did, I always used to ask when we were leaving the EU. They don't want to be asked awkward questions.0

My Muppet is exactly the same GQ and I feel about her the very same way you feel about your Muppet. The problem here is she's in a stronghold and quite c*cky that history will keep her safe. We are all ignorant, poverty stricken and need our hands held by her as we don't understand what an EU exit means. She makes my blood boil.0

I feel a similiar overheating of the corpuscles when thinking about my Muppet, fuddle.
Howsomever, I think we are officially in Interesting Times and that there may well be no such thing as a safe seat in upcoming elections. The undercurrent I hear from all sides is utter exasperation and a demand that They Just Get On With It.
Muppets who are smugly taking their safety for granted for historic reasons might be in for a rude awakening. I love that bit where you see their expressions slip into disbelief at the count as they realise that they're Out and have damned near lost their deposits. I do hope they're tech savvy enough to manage the universal credit claim online.......Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Hi,
It's so annoying, isn't it? My constituency voted to remain by a wide margin but our MP, a Tory, has consistently voted with the Government. I wouldn't care so much if he had a career to protect, I could understand that, but he is a total no-hoper. His constituents vote to remain, he ignores us and cravenly votes whatever his equally hopeless leader tells him. While others rebel, he does nothing. Pathetic, I can't say how much I despise him.1/10/2015 Debt Free

It's amazing how insidious this thing is getting. I was going to intercede last night but thought better of it when my thoughts started to wander, so:snip
...And now for something completely different...
Why am I in this handcart and where are we going ?0 -
Visit to Farm Foods is on for today and also, because I saw trailers full of them going through the village yesterday a trip to the local farm that sells them for a sack of potatoes. I am going this afternoon to sort through all my camping/prepping equipment and make sure it is in working order and that I know where everything is in the store room and tomorrow I shall be going into town and stock us up on ibuprofen and paracetamol as much as I am able by buying the maximum I'm allowed in the shops that sell it. I shall also look at stocks of soap, toothpaste, shampoo etc and cleaning stuff like disinfectant and bleach and top us up there too if I feel the need. The other thing I will be after is leaf tea as tea is the one thing I would be lost without!0

Such savvidgery, GQ! Thought you kept that vehemence for cold steel & slugs, but given what Muppets up to, cold steel looking almost tempting. However, death by a thousand stupid UC questions seems wholly reasonable...0 -
Lock 'em in the room and don't let the little beggars out again until they make friends and come to an agreement, and dock their wages while they're in there, why should we continue to pay them to do nothing?0

Right soooo I ran out of fans for the stuff to hit so had to pull the plug on posting for a while as real life was just too full on. I'm now not completely starting from scratch but lets just say our preps are somewhat depleted due to various issues.
I would say however if it hadn't have been for my stores etc we would have gone under a very long time ago!
I wanted to post about some bloke I found on utube actually. I had to have some surgery done and was flat on my back bored bliddy witless so started watching Charles Dowding's gardening vids while my OH battled valiantly to keep the garden going.
I'm now harvesting the fourth lot of stuff from my teenie garden due to his sowing plans to extend the seasons so for others with tiny plots like me it might be worth a little look.
I might not be able to post that often but at least finding the time now to read a bit at last.
Hope all are well (I need to read about three thousand threads to catch up with everyones news I may be a while!!!)
Keep up the good work XXX0 -
How lovely to see you post again D&DD hope you are now well on the way to recovery and well done to Mr.D for working the seed rota on your little plot and feeding the 5,000 as a result of his efforts.0
