I still do not have the confirmation from Wideroe yet. :(

Loganair are THE worst airline i've ever had the misfortune of dealing with...

It should end up being the 9.30am flight from Aberdeen to Bergen on the 4th July and returning at 17.40pm from Bergen to Aberdeen. Both with Wideroe

Looks like there are no nonstop alternative routings from Inverness so unless you're really keen to fly from there the option they have offered from Aberdeen may be preferable.

Yeah, I have no doubt that what they have offered is the best option for me, just really annoying and inconvenient.

Is the 40pence per mile correct or should it align with HMRC rate of 45pence? #everypenny

It doesn't need to align with anything. Loganair are responsible for the costs to get from your original departure point of Inverness to Aberdeen. Is there a hopper flight from Inverness to Aberdeen?
If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Yeah it's a pain but it can happen with any airline to be honest.

Not sure but I have now booked all the accommodation in Aberdeen.

How would they normally settle any compensation like this 40pence allowance they are offering? As a cheque or discount off flights, etc?
