If you have an android phone, you can link it to your computer over your home wifi network by installing the Your Phone Companion app. This allows your computer to view, and send, your text messages.

Change your mobile number to your landline number and then:


Depending on the telecoms operator texts sent to a regular phone line result in a message sent to the number or voicemail with the text read out verbally.

Or

Dump your John Lewis card and get a different one.
