Now that the dust has settled, they want to claim costs. Turns out to be about £130!! I know they may not get all of this but worth trying.
How do they apply to the court for costs? Is it simply a matter of writing a letter? Do they itemise costs? Does evidence of costs need to be provided?

Also, is it worth trying to get the previous charges refunded given they were charged unlawfully?
    Thanks for your thoughts.

Click on LoadsofChildren123's username for an April post she made (she is a solicitor) about arguing for costs by letter, to the named Judge who heard the case.

Good luck, albeit I think it is too late. I think the court will knock you back.

Another option I suggested to someone earlier, is to itemise all these costs and losses and send a Letter before Claim to the guilty party who contracted the scammer on site - the managing agent/landowner, telling them that they are vicariously liable for these losses due to the conduct of UKCPM whose scam was exposed in court in case number xxxxxxx which was won by the Defendant.

Then follow that with a claim.

Not a good idea if they are still living there though, if a residential car park!

Thanks Coupon Mad - I will do as you suggest and not have high hopes. I guess he won't send a LBC to the landowner / Managing Agent given he is still living there!
