My only issue with SUV's is that 70% of the people who own them, really don't need them....
The problem with modern smaller cars is that you have to almost crawl into most of them !

Only if you're morbidly obese. I owned a Lupo for many years. I'm an average size male and at one point was an overweight male. I had no problem fitting in there at any point.

    1. If you choose a car to say something about you the Nissan Qashqai says, "Nanna died and I spent the inheritance on this and a down-payment on a UPVC conservatory. I wanted to go on a holiday to Canada too but the wife put her foot down so we got an ISA."
    2. The newest one looks like it was designed by a 14 year old boy in the 80s who had been told to draw what he thought a car would look like in the year 2000.
    3. It's actually a Renault.
    4. There are too many of them in supermarket car parks.
4 ok, valid point, 3 isn't that that just the diesels? The rest, not so much.

Steady.....you'll get an angry response to that!
    Might be too subtle though?
Funnily, i've been pondering a small Caddy sized van to facilitate a side project i'm going to work on. I havent seen much movement yet, but in theory markets like pickups and vans are likely to be hit by the upcoming downturn.
Would be interesting to hear if anyone has direct experience?

Why? So you can argue with them?

Well - if your prime reason for choosing a car is "what it says about you" - then Money Saving is not the best place to discuss it. For most of us - it's a combination of "does it meet my needs", "is it a good deal" and "do I like driving it?"

Yep - I think it's ugly and well on the way to the cabs from the first Judge Dredd film. But I think that of many modern vehicles in that class...
I need to think of something new here...

So, how does that make them different from "supercars", sports cars, or indeed "luxury" saloons?

It's a crossover and not a 4x4 SUV. It's a great car for those who need the extra height and find most cars too low to get in and out of.
