    1. If you choose a car to say something about you the Nissan Qashqai says, "Nanna died and I spent the inheritance on this and a down-payment on a UPVC conservatory. I wanted to go on a holiday to Canada too but the wife put her foot down so we got an ISA."
    2. The newest one looks like it was designed by a 14 year old boy in the 80s who had been told to draw what he thought a car would look like in the year 2000.
    3. It's actually a Renault.
    4. There are too many of them in supermarket car parks.
Just another boring inflammatory post, didn't get the reaction you wanted in your first post/thread starter so you've come back for a second go.

You could apply that list to pretty much any mainstream new car (apart from the Renault bit).

You don't like it then don't buy one. What do you drive?

It seems to have raised an awful lot of aggression in you and you've put wayyy too much thought in to it.

They're a decent car, if thats you're thing.

Nissan / Renault (/ Mitsubishi) form an alliance with Renault owning something like 40% of all Nissan shares. They share engines and platforms where possible. Hardly a surprise that it has Renault underpinnings.

    Have you driven one?
I have, would have another again in a heartbeat.

It's not a sports car but neither is almost anything else on the market.

What have you got that's somehow much better?

My only issue with SUV's is that 70% of the people who own them, really don't need them....

Looks pretty much the same as any car in its class - Hyundai, Toyota, Kia and more - I usually have to look at the badge to see what it actually is.

I think they're totally fit for purpose and if i was looking for that sort of thing they'd be on my shortlist without doubt.
