UKCPS - Notice to Hirer - PCN

Hi, I received a Notice to Hirer from UKCPS and I’m unsure what to do...
It says a notice to keeper has been served on the keeper with the full details of the charge. The car is a lease, so the lease company have given my details as the hirer and so they’ve contacted me.
It’s the usual stuff, but says it encloses the following:
- statement signed by the vehicle hire firm that the vehicle was on hire to youninder a hire agreements.
- hire agreement.
- statement of liability.
- notice to keeper served on hire company.
The only one of the above enclosed was the hire agreement.
I will upload a copy of the letter.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.

Please PM a Board Guide to get this moved to the Parking sub-forum.
Whilst you wait, please check out the NEWBIES sticky thread in there.0 -
It won’t let me upload the letter as I’m a new user - I had an account but lost all the details.0
-
Thank you, will do.
Checked the sticky and the closest one was for a lease vehicle for a company, not an individual.
Also, looked on the UKCPS website and won’t allow an online appeal as says out of time... though the letter says 21 days given.0 -
My response remains unchanged. No more replies here until it's moved into the Parking board.
PS - you're over-thinking this. Follow the NEWBIES guidance for first appeal. And be thankful that it seems that the lease/hire company have followed BVRLA guidance to transfer liability away from themselves and not just paid the PCN (and billed you, plus an admin charge).0 -
I have moved this to the sub board for better responses.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks Soolin. Maybe also delete (or merge with this one) the thread below?

There are three perfectly usable examples just above that one, in the sticky. Not that UKCPS will cancel, of course, and they will bother you for months/years (but if they try a small claim, as hirer you cannot be held liable, due to their failure).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
