What local auth. area are you in?


Other posters are right i think in that each area has slightly different criteria.
I currently have a pass for use in Manchester.
I was looking at moving to Blackpool and looked at how to apply in their area. They state they dont accept GP letter's as evidence as it might affect your relationship with your GP. Which sounds like complete rubbish.
5 miles up the road, in a different local auth. and they do accept GP letters.


I'm no expert but i found when applying myself without any NHS professionals helping, i got nowhere.
When i was given a support worker at Manchester NHS, they told me they can get me a bus pass, they did the form, and i got a 3 year pass.

Do you have anyone supporting you , occupational health therapists for example, that could assist? Support worker? Does your local auth. accept letters from GP's to support your case?
