Severe disability premium help

Hi my esa claim has gone clerical which is ok but I put in for severe disability premium and they have started paying me but arrears ain't been paid or sorted is this normal any advice or anyone been through same would be great to hear of you

Hi I claim esa and my claim recently went clerical which is ok.I have started to receive the severe disability premium and have received my first payment.The problem I have is that my arrears I'm owed haven't been sorted or looked at I am wondering if this is normal.Iwould be grateful for any advice or to hear if anyone has experienced the same problem

You were advised to ring DWP to ask them about your backdated money, did you do this? No one here can answer your questions.

I'm asking if anyone else has ever had problems getting paid there back pay I'm not asking how do i get it

If it's over a certain amount it can be delayed. If it's owed to you, you'll have it, if it's not you won't. Ring them tomorrow morning and ask them about it and they'll tell you exactly what you want to know. If it's paid, they'll tell you that too.

Hi I'm asking if anyone else has ever had problems getting paid there back pay before I'm not asking how do i get it. On a forum some ppl might have experienced problems getting it paid and how long they had to wait etc
