If you've been awarded the SDP have you received a letter confirming this? The SDP is added on top of the ESA claim, have you received an ESA payment since you claimed the SDP?
You should receive backpay to when you qualified. If you haven't received it then you'll need to ring ESA again on Monday morning, no one can really answer your question other than DWP them self. They open at 8am Monday morning. A claim for SDP can take 3 weeks, longer if backpay is owed.0 -
I was told sdp has been added to claim not had letter yet and was told the premium will be on my next pay which is Tuesday but with it going clerical will that hold the back pay up thank you for replying0

If it's a large payment then it can delay payment yes. You really do need to ring ESA to ask them because no one here can possibly answer your questions.0
