Waamo - I received an email by return, confirming receipt of my appeal - looks like an automatically generated email. Wording as follows:-
"Thank you. Your appeal has been received.
We aim to have a response within 14 days. No action will be taken whilst your appeal is pending.
Alternatively, you can check back at https://www.parkindigoappeals.co.uk at any time for an update.
Please note, that if you have appealed within 14 days and your appeal is subsequently rejected you will be given another 14 days with which to make payment at the discounted amount."
So they can't deny they have my appeal. My guess is they looked at my appeal, recognised the MSE wording so realised I knew what I was doing and chose not to even bother replying but just went straight to the increasingly threatening debt collection letters in the hope that I would be stupid enough to get scared and pay up.
