I just had a look on Debt Recovery Plus's web site and Parking Eye appear under their client list - not surprising I guess, why pay to chase a fake debt if someone else say's they will do it for you for free. It's just a great shame to think that DRP's business model obviously is working for them.

Yes, it's logic to use a freebie firm even though that freebie lives in the sewers

Parking Eye will be blasted if they allow DRP to send out their rubbish.

Bear in mind that both PE and DRP are members of the BPA who just adore accepting money from scammers

or not , because no one rings , writes to DRP , and only uneducated fools pay them
  • I think before anyone can take this seriously, you need to scan the DRP letter removing your personal details
Upload to a free hosting site and link here using hxxp (not http)
and someone will make it live.

After seeing the following post and it been made quite obvious that they are listed as a client. Do I continue with the newbi thread 4 and ignore DRP which I imagine I should. But should I send a letter of appeal to parkingeye or leave it now it’s been passed to DRP?
  • dunno , what's the newbies thread suggest?

You can still follow the "ignore DRP" advice as you correctly imagine you should - just because ParkingEye have switched the company that does the debt letter stage doesn't change the fact that the debt letter agency still hold no power to take you to court.

But don't ignore any county court clam forms.

If you're at the "letter of debt" stage I imagine ParkingEye would tell you that "you've missed the appeal stage". Did you appeal at all before hand?

PE offer an appeal service, and popla

so if the recipient failed to do one or both, then they are stating a fact, which a judge could accept in court

DRPL cannot be assigned the debt, so cannot issue court proceedings, never could and definitely wont, if any MCOL arrives, or LBCCC , it will be from PE

    hence the IGNORE DRPL advice

Hmmm, not being rude but the penny has not dropped yet

IGNORE DRP, POWERELESS MONEY SCAMMERS and YES they are powerless but their sewer type letters could be illegal

If Parking Eye wants to employ idiots, it's their problem

I wonder what brain power at Parking Eye thought this one up ??

I never did appeal to parking eye, I honestly just chucked the letter away since it wasn’t a council ticket etc. If it’s to late to appear I’ll continue to wait and see what arrives next.
