Usually network drives plug into the router because wired networking is faster than wireless. In fact a quick google shows none that you connect to directly via wifi.

Thanks storage connected to router could be ideal then maybe portable size.
That will be placed either on top of apple4kt.v. Or sky router.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -
What would you use a wifi storage unit for? I can't see any advantage in using a WiFi drive (if it does exist) over a USB disk or a NAS. As long as you are able to connect to it, wherever it is (like, on top of the router, in the cupboard, on your desk), why does it matter WiFi?0

Western Digital, amongst others, make a wireless SSD drive - google 'wireless ssd' But they ned to be charged, (or left plugged in.)
Not sure if this is what you meant, as the first reply relates to network attached drives (NAS) which is different0 -

Thanks I seen one or two-noticed battery power is only 8hours though can be charged via usb 3.0
Think cost wise I'll choose HDD rather than ssd.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -

The question you need to answer. I have a NAS plugged into my router and connect any of my devices to it over either the wired or wireless network to access files and stream media.
Is that one of the wifi enabled type drives.
As I have never needed a NAS I thought they were expesnive.
I only require maybe 250/500 or 1TB -though for a few and far between blue ray purchases 1TB prb' exceeds my requirements.
I have manged to get 2 blue rays and 1 dvd movie onto 128 gb ssd -built in to mu i3 laptop.
Only recently I could use more external storage for future blue ray movies.
Personal movies only most of whicb I'll purchse from Amazon/possibly Sky store.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -

No ... it's a USB HDD plugged in to the router. Access to the HDD is via either wired or WiFi via the router. So if you connect to the router via WiFi, you thus access the HDD via WiFi.
I know I'm not the person who posted, but it is very easy to interpret what they meant.0 -

Thats' why I thanked OP@3:43
Lots of what your mention available via amazon-some are restricted into their 'own' cloud services, I'm considering which I could copy blue rays to and upload or link to Infuse App or browser urlReplenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Huh? I was responding to YOUR response (post #8) to post #7 by molerat. The tone of your post #10 suggests you still don't understand what's being said.0
