Not me personally. wouldn't touch them with a barge pole; especially in London.

I assume that the draw is the big numbers in terms of yield.

Personally I'd invest in property in the North, where you could in all likelihood get 2 or 3 decent family homes, with longer term tenants and less legislation to battle through.

Are you asking us? Not sure any of us know whether you are or not.

    Hi guys!
Planning to by an HMO in East London, looking for some good consultants or somebody who can help me to find a good one with the best price.
Maybe some of you have an experience buying HMO or have some recommendations for me?
    Will appreciate any help.
    Thanks
    :j
Have you by any chance recently been to some seminar/course and been told what a great opportunity HMOs are to make money and that they are out there "below market value"?

If someone could find one at a (genuinely..) good price, why would they not buy it themselves???

Oh is that what the seminars are about. They keep popping up in Facebook ads, cheeky looking guys in fake tan on about making millions but want £80 from you to learn their secrets.

I have looked into HMO. I wouldn't be surprised if they get banned in the future. It's like the middle ages, 10 people in a house.
