In my original post I wondered whether there was a format change as it sounded as though there was going to be a set prize for each day. The posts today sound like you can ask for what you want. As they're naming the prize for the day I guess you'll know whether it could be you or not in the morning!

Except there is nowhere on the entry form to give any prize details and the text does not ask for it either.
I think your original guess is correct and they will announce a prize at the start of each round and that is the prize you can win if you answer correctly (Bit like the cash one that has been running where you say the correct amount and win it)

Entries to the competition will open on Friday 30th November at 8:30am.

The first round of the competition will take place on Monday 3rd December.

Shortly after 7am, 10am and 4pm each weekday (Monday to Friday), and 10am and 4pm at the weekend (Saturday & Sunday), the presenter will reveal that hour’s Kissmas prize (“Prize”). This Prize will be valid for the next round only (“Competition Round”) and will also be the Prize that entrants are trying to win.
We reserve the right to announce the Prize at other times each day, including after the conclusion of previous rounds. We may also advertise the current Prize on offer at the station website, social media or via SMS marketing message.

Entry Periods and Round times

Entry to each round will be open as follows:
Round 1 will take place between 7:40am & 8:00am on Monday 3rd December. Entry to this round will be open between 8:30am on Friday 30th November and 7:40am on Monday 3rd December.

Subsequent rounds will run as follows:
Weekdays (Monday to Friday)
Rounds between 7:40am & 8:30am. Entry open from 4:40pm the previous day until 7:40am.
Rounds between 10:40am & 11:30am. Entry open from 7:40am until 10:40am each weekday.
Rounds between 4:40pm & 5:30pm. Entry open from 10:40am until 4:40pm each weekday.

Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
Saturday round between 10:40am & 11:00am. Entry open from 4:40pm on Friday until 10:40am.
Sunday round between 10:40am & 11:00am. Entry open from 4:40pm on Saturday until 10:40am.
Rounds between 4:40pm & 5:00pm. Entry open from 10:40am until 4:40pm each day (Saturday & Sunday).

ITEM 5: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS
Once you have entered this competition, you will be eligible for every subsequent round of the competition.

You can enter each round a maximum of 3 times per mobile number (including free entries) via SMS and a maximum of 3 times online for each round.

Entrants must obtain permission from the bill payer before texting to enter the Competition.

The Competition is only open to people aged 18 and over who: (i) live in the UK and (ii) are not one of our employees (or living with, or related to, one of our employees).

Entrants are only able to win a single prize throughout the duration of this competition. There is no limit on the value of a single prize that may be provided to the individual winner of a Competition. However, no person may win more than one prize valued at £500 or more via any of our Competitions in any six (6) month period. A winner may continue to receive SMS messages in relation to the Competition and invitations to enter the Competition. For the avoidance of doubt, a winner should not enter the Competition again if they have already won in the previous six (6) months as they are ineligible to win. If a previous winner is drawn at random in a subsequent competition, or subsequent round of the same competition, they will be disqualified, and another entrant will be drawn at random. If it emerges after a winner has been awarded a prize that they are a previous winner, in breach of these terms and conditions, they will be excluded and the prize shall not be paid to them. If the prize has already been paid, this must be returned immediately upon request. For clarity, it is possible to be drawn more than once, and if the entrant drawn has not previously won a prize, they are eligible to play and to win a prize.

In addition to previous winners, family relations of, or those living at the same residential address as, previous winners of this contest are ineligible to enter.

ITEM 6: ROUTES OF ENTRY AND COSTS
You can enter the competition by sending an SMS message starting with the keyword WIN to 64100. If your message does not start with the valid keyword, or is not sent to the valid number, it will not be entered in to the draw. You will receive an automated SMS response to your SMS message confirming your entry. You can also enter for free below.

You are responsible for all costs associated with entering this competition. Texts cost £2.00 (from the UK) + standard network rate. You must have permission from the bill payer before sending. Online entry is free.

Once you’ve sent an entry text, you’ll receive an auto-response confirming your entry. You will then have the chance to text: WIN to 64100, again (at a further cost of £2.00 + standard network rate) and you will be entered 2 more times – your ‘3rd’ entry being free.

ITEM 7: DRAW DETAILS
Entries will close at the end of each contest round, all valid entries will be pooled, and one entry will be selected by automated random draw.

The presenter will call the number selected (please note this could be from a withheld number). The entrant must answer the phone within 5 rings according to the station’s audio recording, and state the correct Prize Amount when asked.

The entrant will not win the prize, should they:

fail to answer the phone at all; or
fail to answer the phone within 5 rings (according to the station’s audio); or
fail to state the correct Prize when asked;
Where any foul or explicit language is used, we reserve the right to disqualify you and any prize awarded will be forfeited.

The answer given must be clearly audible to presenters and adjudicators and audible on the studio’s audio recording. If this is unclear or inaudible due to a poor signal or any other reason, the presenter will ask the entrant to repeat their answer.

If entrants appear in the judgement of the presenters and/or adjudicators to be driving illegally, they will not be eligible to win. Where there is any doubt in relation to whether or not an entrant has spoken the correct Prize or the Prize should be awarded, we reserve the right to defer decision making to an off-air adjudicator to check the audio recording with reference to these terms and conditions. All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or awarding of prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into.

As set out above, following the conclusion of a round, a new round will commence in line with these terms and conditions. For clarity, a new Prize will be announced for the next round. Anyone who entered any of the previous rounds, plus anyone entering the current round, will be eligible to win.

The final round will take place on Monday 24th December between 4:40pm & 5:00pm. If a winner is not declared, the Competition continues throughout the evening until a winner is selected.

In some cases, after lines are closed, we may record an entrant’s call off-air to be played out at a later time on-air. All callers are still randomly selected in the same way and this will only ever take place after the entries have closed.

ITEM 8: WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
Entrants who are randomly selected to play will be contacted personally between 7:40am & 8:30am, 10:40am & 11:30am or 4:40pm & 5:30pm on the relevant day of the round. By entering the competition, you are automatically consenting to being called live on air at this time (where a call is not recorded off-air) and having your name and location announced on-air.

The name and the hometown of the winner may also be posted on the Promoter’s website and / or social media platforms after they have been announced on-air.

ITEM 9: PRIZE DETAILS
The Prize will be delivered to a winner. Cash prizes will be paid in cash, by bank transfer or by cheque. The Prize will have been specified on-air each time there is on-air communication about Competition entry.

Delivery of prize money is subject always to the winner providing photo ID and proof of address. Our prizes are always non-transferable and (unless the competition is for a cash prize) cannot be exchanged for cash. Payment can take up to 28 days.

Where, it emerges after a prize has been awarded that the entrant was in breach of these terms and conditions we reserve the right to declare the prize as forfeit.

Due to the nature of the competition, the prizes will only be revealed on air when the competition is being played. We reserve the right to substitute prizes as part of the competition, offer alternative prizes where prizes promoted on air are unavailable, or to offer a cash equivalent at our discretion. As part of these terms and conditions entrants accept that they will need to make themselves available to take up prizes, including being available on particular dates in the cases of any holidays or events prizes. We do not accept any responsibility for situations where a winner is unable to accept or take up a prize due to the restrictions in place from any third party prize providers.

ITEM 10: DATA PROTECTION
By entering the competition, you are automatically consenting to receiving marketing communications from us via SMS text message. You can opt out of this at any time by texting: STOP to 64100. This will be charged at your standard network rate but if you do not wish to receive any marketing communications you will need to do this after each time you text us to re-enter the competition. ITEM 11: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENT

You agree that we will own this recording and that a copy of it will be stored for further exploitation, which may include promotion. You will not be put through to speak on-air if we think you are driving, intoxicated, likely to swear, or otherwise offend our listeners. Whilst on air for the purposes of this competition you must not use foul language, swear, say or do anything defamatory or illegal or say or do anything which would damage the reputation of Bauer, is offensive or inappropriate or which would cause us, or our listeners, harm . Failure to comply will result in disqualification, and if you have won the prize, this will be forfeited.

ITEM 12: OTHER CONDITIONS
We will only accept entries that comply with our terms and conditions and we may disqualify you if we know or suspect that you have breached them. Our decision on the selection of the winner is final and we won’t engage in any correspondence or discussion about this or about the operation of this competition. We are not responsible for any network or technical issues you experience, such as latency of your mobile phone network, which may delay or prevent your participation or cause you to lose the competition if on-air. You don't need to call them, they pick a potential winner and the person that gets called has to say what the prize for that round is - posting the prize details on here is no different to posting the prize amounts on the other one that has been running recently and they might post the prize details anyway.

If the prize is worth £500 or more you have to think if it is worth winning as it stops you from entering for 6 months nearly all the significant cash prizes that are posted on here as most of them (apart from a few smaller magazines) are from Bauer Media.


(Closing this week alone the cash prizes from 3 of their radio competitions total £51,000 and just 3 magazine puzzles another £15,000).
