BW Legal Letter of Claim Excel Parking

Looks fine, it's all a pre-action exercise really, but VITAL to get the PDT machine report of payments made.
Then you keep it safe, and compare it with the version that the Claimant produce in evidence in 2019 - like Ms Ambler did in Excel v Ambler, to great effect!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks coupon-mad. So do both the sar and the rebuttal look okay?
With the SAR to BW Legal, is it better to just be more 'general' with that one i.e. not the level of specificity that I've asked excel for?
I'll get these sent off asap.
Hopefully they'll comply and send the PDT report. I'll have a good read of the excel Vs ambler case.0 -

Got this email reply from BW Legal after submitting a SAR:
Good Afternoon
Thank you for contacting BW Legal, before we are able to reply we need you to confirm a few Data Protection Questions which we have specified below to allow us to be able to locate your details as you have not provided us with any further details.
We also need confirmation from you that this is your authorised email address and that you wish us to correspond with you via this address?
Full Name:
Full Address & Postcode:
DOB:
Telephone Contact Number:
Authorised Email address:
Alternatively, please contact our offices on 0113 323 4497 to discuss this matter further.
They already have my name and address. There's no way I'm giving them my phone number. Is it reasonable to ask for DOB? What could they possibly need that for?0 -
Shall i just tell BW Legal to bog off with the level of detail they're asking for?0
-
yes
do not give them phone numbers or D.O.B., its too much data and none of their business , see the GDPR 2018 FIGHTBACK thread by coupon_mad as there is good advice in there
use a throwaway gmail email address set up for this kind of stuff, not your own personal email address0 -
Thanks, REDx. I'll reply to them without DOB and phone number. I'm not too bothered about them having my email to be honest, and I've already sent the SAR to Excel and BW from it anyway.0

BWLegal cannot be trusted with personal data
They have the name and address anyway so that's all they
need to confirm.
No phone number as BWLegal are known scammers and pests
Not much going for them really ?0 -
Given they have been sending confidential informnation already, without these checks, you quesiton the obvious staliing tactic
Rmeind them the 30 days starts from when you made your request, as at that point they must have been satisified they were dealing with the correct person, else they must not have been sending the letters they already have.0 -
They sent the LOC to my old address. I told them that the extra info there were requesting wasn't relevant to action a SAR and that it was disproportionate to request it.
I should have reminded them that the 30 day clock was ticking, but I doubt it would have made an iota of difference with these clowns anyway.
I've not heard back from them since and fully expect court papers to turn up as their own required date for me to respond was 15 Dec. I'll post pack here on the next development guys.
Many thanks again to everyone for their support.0
