Unless they're checking that the "random" winner is one of their friends and have to keep hitting the "Generate Winner" or "Generate random number" button until it is one of their friends.0

Last year I entered a competition for what is a long-standing (100 years or more) family firm of butchers who sell award winning sausages.... and I won. It turned out I was the only entry!
Sorry but you’re wrong. She’s been running her blog and putting competitions on it for over 10 years. She’s had experience of lots of mse’rs entering her comps previously. She knows what she’s doing. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

All I can say is I have a house full of things that I never knew I needed but saw them in a rafflecopter, gleam or some other competition loved them didn't win so bought them - I am going to have to move to a bigger house soon0

I'm the money saver in this house, husband is more free and easy with the cash. I really regret starting comping. Over the years (not long using this site for it although a site member for a while), he has developed, from wins, a Jo Malone scent and Penhaligon's deodorant and shower gel habit while swearing Jordan's is the only breakfast that is acceptable. He's also (while shovelling down packets of Pom Bears - sorry kids, they're dad's favourite now), pushing for a second wireless speaker system and another Berghaus jacket. Comping is costing me a flipping fortune!0

To be fair to him, Jordan's IS the best cereal.
But all these new things we discover and brands, be it big or small wouldn't have happened without competitions.December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0 -

Some skincare products, that I won during the advents my first year comping, I still buy now, so have spent hundreds of pounds over the years and always recommend them to friends.
Without comping I wouldn't have found them or how fantastic the products are for me.0 -
