Lovely sunny day out there today . Meeting a friend at Prezzo for lunch (2 for 1 Meerkat Meals), so I will walk there later on - it'll be my workout for the day.

Cleaner is here now. We have asked if we can go to a fortnightly clean, as I think we are managing to keep things up together in between cleans, and it will save us £7 a week. It's nice having a cleaner, but I always feel a bit awkward when they're cleaning away and I'm just sat on my backside doing nothing.

Things are motoring along nicely on my £1k challenge. I had £17.77 through from Topcashback this morning. I know if I just keep going and doing the surveys etc, the money will come in quite regularly.

Another £20.58 just came in from Prolific - Nearly at £50 already (and I've requested a £5 Amazon voucher from Swagbucks) :D

Lovely day again . It's my dad's birthday today, so I'm going to my mum's and we'll pop to the cemetery to leave some flowers. Got to get some ironing done before I go.

Forgot to mention that my friend paid for lunch yesterday in lieu of my birthday (she was away), which was nice.

Another £5 Amazon voucher from Swagbucks came through today.

I've had a quiet couple of days. Not much happening really. Got my next Harefield appointment on 23rd September, so plenty of time to get my lung function up.

    Hi everyone

Didn't get the chance to post over the weekend. I have been doing a few surveys, but not many. I did request another £5 Amazon voucher from Swagbucks though.

We've decided to get rid of our cleaner. We're just not really happy with the level of cleaning we're getting for £28 a week, so have decided to just do it ourselves. OH will just have to do the stuff that I can't for health reasons. To be honest though, I can manage most things - I think we were just being pretty lazy. Our last clean is on 11th June, so we will save over £100 a month there.

We went to see Rocketman on Sunday night. A bit too toe-curling for me in places - I'm not a massive musical fan though (with the exception of The Greatest Showman).

Also saw The Secret Life of Pets 2 with my niece and nephew this morning - good film, on a par with the first.

    Emz xx
  • Good job with the cleaner savings, that's a lot of money each week if you weren't happy with the work! That'll give you a nice cushion in your budget :)
