Hope that Holly is doing well, lovely support from her. brother and her family.
Taking it easy today, have a UTI which is knocking me back a bit, OH is sad as he knows that he is unlikely to see his beloved sister again.
We are having Thanksgiving dinner here tomorrow and then leave 21.30 flight which leaves us home at 08.30 Friday morning...... Looking forward to seeing the grandchildren.
Hugs and good wishes to everyone

Evening all, Dixon style :rotfl:.
DGD has gone home with DSiL and I have cooked tea. Fish and chips for me and SF chicken and chips for Mr Fix It. I am now ensconced on the sofa and I am shattered, mainly because Mr Fix it kept me awake for most of the night.... Stop it !.... No sniggering at the back please. The only way he could sleep was on his back, as his injection site was very painful, hence he snored for Wales . I even came downstairs but I could still hear him ! I am now biding my time till I can go up the wooden hill to Gwelly. I don't want to go too early or I'll be awake again about 3am
My next door neighbour Joan, has come home from hospital this afternoon and it seems months since she went in. I'll let her settle in before I shatter her peace and quiet :rotfl:.
Dad rang to say he wasn't coming over for tea tonight as he didn't feel up to it, but we are taking him to the hospital tomorrow anyway, for a physio appointment. Mr Fix It will put on his taxi driver's hat. Dad wants me to go in with him, as he doesn't always catch what is being said. ( Personally I want to make sure that he actually keeps the appointment )
Hope everyone has had a good day.
Lovely to see some MIA posters back, IMO none of your posts are ever boring.
Take care all

The Furnutters are driving me mad, making me laugh, n keeping me going at the mo :DNever a dull moment :rotfl:Hi. It’s so cold here. I got my watch battery replaced so that’s better I so missed it. Bottom line is, we only use fuel we need to in any case - having a real-time log isn't going to change what we need to do, and Mr Wolf is not prepared for me to put my health on the line by worrying about what a flippin' display says.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I'm not getting a smart meter for the same reason LW.I worry enough about things as it is"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Evening all
Got up quite late at nine this monring and fancied a breakfast out, so by the time I'd showered and got dressed it was 10:45. One quick trip to sainsbobs later and I was replete with breakfast. This was followed by a controlled stagger around the SM getting in things for Christmas that I can hide in cupboards because I won't be able to go anywhere after mid december thanks to mastectomy.
Got back and was so knackered I left th shopping in the porch for OH to fetch in.
I dissassembled the chair last night [ there was much standing and bouncing on various bits to break them] with the intent of taking everything else and that to the dump. Got there. Dump not open on Wednesday. New plan for tomorrow then....
Got home suitable pooped from shopping and decided to maek a fire since it was snowing and raiing today, now I wish I was in my pants because it's THAT warm but I am not complaining, it's lovely, so I reckon a nap is going to happen soon.
Hope your Wednesdays were all good, shout out to poppy, Holly and TA...
Happy Birthday Hester!
