On YouTube I have 6 minutes 30 minutes of low quality video that takes up 78 MB yet the original file showed 124MB I know I am doing something wrong here :(

Another person told me about Software "Handbrake" its free you can use it for Windows but was developed for Macs.

Yes Uploading 1 DVD is massive considering 2 meg dsl up to server download and upload again to YouTube:)

    Heidy

Does YouTube quote the size of the file? What is the duration of the original file? Was the upload interrupted?

What is the duration of the 124MB file?

What is the duration of the 124MB file?

1 hour 48 minutes No YouTube does Not Quote the size of the file going upload just percentage % increments

Yes sometime the Upload Jams but rarely.

Maybe I need too do one of those VNU remote assistance things where another person can look inside my PC and see my Desktop etc and all the Bells and Whistles so to speak are adjusted correctly whats the best software for 2 parties to download and use for this purpose?

Also I was wondering is there an automated YouTUBE File Upload Queing Software on the market:) so I dont have to spend too much time around the PC :)

    Regards,

A simple solution is https://www.sendthisfile.com - only limitation is the person/s receiving the file have to pick it up within 3 days. It is not brilliantly fast to upload but then neither are most ISPs, eg Virgin Media limits people to 256 mb/s anyway which a fraction of usual download speed.

Heidy, why are you trying to upload a file of 108 minute duration, when YouTube's limit is 10 minutes?

Have I lost something in the translation?

Another thing, unless you are at work, I think it unlikely that you have SDSL, More likely ADSL, so your upload speed is unlikely to be more that 256Kbps.

Uploading a 124MB file anywhere is going to take you around 2 hours. Is it to this duration that you are referring?

Before you get started uploading the 1.1GB file, be reminded that it could take eighteen hours, if the connection remains unbroken.

No The DVD File compressed is 124 MB (1hour 48 minutes duration) in Total I used Super Video Splitter 5.0 to edit it yet the OUTPUT was Video Clips Size 78MB for 6 minutes 30minutes duration

I have sent an email to Super Video Splitter 5.0 Software Support to ask why this is happening.
Yes I have standard ADSL here in Ireland never heard of the other SDSL service is this widely available in UK on BT Telephone Lines or Wireless Internet Connections?

Yes True it is taking a lot lot of time:( I need efficiency its all about technical expertise at end of the day.
Remote Assistance software with £Payment£ to incentitise(Typo but I think you get the meaning :))

Which output file did you choose? AVI?
SVS 5 does have a facility for video compression, but since you have already compressed the files, there's no need to do it again.
