Best Solution For Emailing/Tranfering Larges Attachments From One Person To Another The file is a 1-1 GB DVD also Poor Quality 124 MB's
Or Is there a Website I could use to Ftp it too,
I think if my memory serves me right there are specialise Data Memory Hardrive Backup Sites where you can back up your Hardrive so its save in the event of physical damage or corruption.
Ideal solution obviously the best thing is fast dsl/both ways uploading especially otherwise its an overnight job.
I wonder if my ISP will serve me with notice for busting their limits:)

Second problem first: there are many products on the marked that will backup your drive just by pressing a button on you USB disk like the one below. http://www.overstock-king.com/p-55-one-button-instant-backup-external-500gb-usb-harddrive.aspx
or http://www.maxtorsolutions.com/en/ToolBox/Product_Grid/index.html
Another way would be to have 2 PCs and automatically copy over the new/changed files by using http://allwaysync.com/ or http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~bcpierce/unison/ or http://www.handybackup.com/pro/ or http://www.secondcopy.com/ or http://www.backup4all.com/
Some of the links above also copy straight to a usb device.

First problem
To copy large files over, A lot depends on the recipients and the number of them. How many will access in one go. Loss of connection recovery. Disregarding the recipient, there various methods the cheap, the easy and the fast ways.
Cheap: set up your own Bit Torrent file share - probably slow-ish but should be fairly easy to do. You also need an understanding ISP. Little security.
Easy: set up you your own ftp server. An understanding ISP would be good here too, You own user accounts and passwords can be individually set up and depening on the s/w you use, speed, content, time of download, number of connections can be set. http://www.bpftp.com/products/bpftpserver/windows
Fast: Managed ftp server. All you have to do is copy the files up and pay the supplier. http://www.ftptoday.com/ftp-server.html
A blank dvd in bulk purchase is around £0.12 - the case cost much more!!! but for small runs it could be cost effective.
Bethere do a 2.5Mgeg upload - providing you live near the exchange and in a BE area https://www.bethere.co.uk/broadbandoffice.doGOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time.0 -
If the pc you want to upload to has a user then use a messenger prog & transfer the file. To back up i would look at a portable hard drive to back up to and keep at another location.Nudge nudge, Wink wink, Say No More!0

What a horrible waste of time.
If you insist, you can upload to Megashares or you can split the file with HJSplit and upload it to Rapidshare, Badongo, Filefactory or similar.0 -
