I do not have a Smart Television. I was considering purchased an Amazon Fire stick with Alexa which is on offer at the moment at several stores (Tesco,Amazon, John Lewis to name some) for £29.95 which seems a very good deal. Will I be able to connect to Google for internet information on my TV through using the Fire Stick. How will it work.

In short, yes.
You can load various apps on to the Fire TV stick, including a web browser. (It does come with one but I added Firefox).
You plug the Fire TV stick in to a spare HDMI port on your TV, and plug the power lead either in to the mains adaptor that comes with it, or in to the USB port on the TV (if it has one). You then use the remote to watch whatever you want, or to browse.
I've never tried voice browsing on mine as I don't do much browsing. (I use Firefox to access Youtube). Browsing via the remote is a bit clunky as there's no keys so you need to use an on-screen keyboard.0 -
Be aware you wont be able to get the Chrome browser on the Fire Stick but there are alternatives, the aforementioned Firefox and Silk browser apps are available.0

What other apps can you download free to receive extra TV Channels on an Amazon Fire Stick. I am especially looking for Sky Atlantic and Sky Sports News. Is it easy to download other apps.0

You can install the NowTV app (I believe) and get Sky channels that way. (You'll need a relevant NowTV subscription).
There are other ways to achieve the same thing for free but we can't discuss them here.0 -
I think you can also use bluetooth to attach a keyboard and mouse ???Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

If you download Kodi onto your Amazon Fire Stick you should receive some additional television channels. I am not sure which ones but I am sure someone who uses Kodi will be able to inform you.0

NowTV app does not work on Firestick. It is stated on NowTV website that it is not supported "at the moment" which may imply it may arrive at some point.0

Possibly you can workaround that problem by installing Google Play Store on the Fire TV stick and then installing NowTV from there? (I have a stick with Google Play Store installed, but don't have a NowTV account so haven't tried it).0

Because the Fire Stick is a customised/butchered version of Android, it doesn't work the same way as Android on a mobile phone or tablet does so it's probably looking for for things and features that are standard on a mobile/tablet Android but not on Amazon's implementation, which itself doesn't use the Play Store for a start.0
