OSPS Question

I sent off my first cashback claim to OSPS about 2 weeks ago, and according to their t&c, I should get a cheque within 28 days. But I was just wondering if they send any type of confirmation (either by text, email or letter) that they have safely received everything and that the cashback will be processed. And also, does it usually take the full 28 days to get the cheque sent to you?

I want to know if I did everything correctly as it is now time for me to send off my bill for cashback on another OSPS contract and I don't want to do so until I know that my 1st contract claim has been successful.

I'm sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, I tried searching but couldn't find it. Many thanks!

Methinks you're most unlikely to get any confirmation. Cheques used to be reliable but nowadays it's anyone's guess. If you've done it right you will get your money; if you've done it right but not complied with how they're doing it rather than the t&c you are following you can sue.

I sent my 1st claim on 16/10 and rec my cheque on 3/11, I checked Royal Mail Website and they delivered the recorded delivery claim on 18/10, I did email them to check the status of the claim, as the cashback calculator was not working and they emailed back to say the cheque had been raised.

I've got 3 cheque-backs from OSPS on my current contract and normally have received the cheques after about 2 weeks. Longest one took 18 days.
  • Thanks for your info. So yours took about 2.5 weeks, so I think I will wait a few more days and then maybe email them just to confirm everything. Thanks again :)
