  • Thanks for the advice about buying this printer, it came today Tues after ordering Sun night, it looks good the only disappointment is no inks with it, can anyone tell me the quickest and cheapest supplier of the inks.
    thanks

I usually get mine from 7dayshop.com very cheap but you will have to wait around 3-5 days for delivery as they ship from Jersey

Check your box Siobhan they should be in there, 4 of them. I've just had a look at my box to see where they were but I can't remember. I think they were in an envelope inside one of the slots in the front, it might have been a foam sort of bag.

Have a GOOD look for the inks! I had to hunt for my own but I think found them in the recess that opens for to put the inks in!!!

I have a DCP-340CW that was on offer earlier this year from Staples, and am thrilled (as much as you can be about a printer) with it.

It's wireless, connects easily to my network, and you can buy a full set of (compatible) inks for less than £7 on Ebay. The ink lasts very well too. At that price I cannot be bothered to refill etc.

If its wireless I'd say go for it.

Also, go for the label printer and sell it on Ebay for £20 - they took weeks to send mine then sent 2 !! so it paid for the printer, a true Freebie.

I've just bought one of these printers. Which cartridges do you use to refill it?

Just ordered mine - thanks, just what I was looking for.
I guess I have to wait for it to arrive before registering on brother site for free gift?
    Happy printing!

  • Thanks OP!

Ordered printer yesterday and it arrived this morning, quidco traced nicely and just used the code to order a label printer.

Giving the printer to my mum & dad (with a digital camera) for xmas.
    Looks like a nice printer.
