"Compatible" cartridge sets are available on eBay for £7.98 for 1, or less for that for multiple buys.
I couldnt find an offer anywhere either, but if you use the code when registering the printer, they send you (or apply) your choice pretty quickly. Like I said, my label printer came after 3 days!0 -
If you go for the 3 year warranty, then it's almost certain that you will need to buy genuine Brother cartridges for the next 3 years to avoid invalidating the warranty.
I'll just keep some part-used original cartridges around, problem solved
p.s. it's different to my mums I went there & had a look last night (hers is a 540something). Hello mumdesrever sthgir lla0 -

It's been a good printer and the quality of the output is great, but I'm really irritated by it refusing to print in black if any of the colour cartridges runs out!
The black ran out the other day so I went to Staples and bought a twin pack for £25 - came home, fitted the new black, went to print out some important documents and the display said the yellow had run out! Luckily I had a spare yellow left over, so popped that in - again no joy - the cyan had run out! I didn't have one of those so nothing got printed in the end!
I hardly print in colour anyway, but the colours seem to run out just the same (I think they evaporate!). Do these new ones let you print in black only, or do they all need a full compliment of cartridges?
I read somewhere on this forum that if you put some black tape over the see-through part of the ink cartridge that has ran out the printer thinks it’s full enabling you to carry on printing.

Just waiting for the label printer
I used the contact "Brother" facility on their website and they phoned be back and said the only promotion was the warrenty.
I think it's possible that some people have got lucky with a previous promotion run over but since 1st October 07 - 30th December 2007 they say it's
FREE 3 years on-site warranty. What's more we will even recycle your old printer - that's FREE too! To claim you will need to enter the promo code LN0009.
But if your printer has a different code on it that they are still honouring that's worth knowing. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Just enter the code EM0002 when you register, and they'll send you one. Don't know where the code originates from, but it works an that's all that matters!0 -
where did you order from been on to the Brother site and it just gives you the details and then ask where you want to buy. Am I thick or what. If Only0

I'm not saying anything..........keithscott1 wrote: »Upon looking at Ryman the Stationers site, I've came across the Brother DCP-330 all-in-one printer, which also has a LCD screen to preview images from your digital camera before you print them to paper.
Here's an image of the beauty.... AND ONLY £49.99!!!!!. That's not all - you can gain 5% Quidco if you go via their site to Ryman to purchase the machine as well as FREE next delivery! The total cost for the machine (if you take your Quidco cashback into the equation) is £47.49 - plus a free gift! Not a bad offer I think! :santa2: :snow_laug :rudolf: :xmassmile
'Hope this helps someone!

Then when you want to register you have to use the link in message #1 of this thread rather than the promotions on the Brother site to access the special offer with the labeller. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program
