And there was me for all this time thinking that 'Crashy Time' related to house prices crashing rather than house sales crashing
It relates to the "Market" crashing and I think falling transactions are part of that crash. Doesn`t matter what your favourite index tells you houses are worth, if no one wants yours at the price your personal market has to all intents and purposes crashed. Transaction levels tell us that this is reality for more and more people, and that is a VERY different market to a few years ago.0 -
