Who is responsible for repairs in a rental?

Am I (the tenant) or the landlord responsible for the following repairs in my rented flat.
- the toilet is suddenly taking an hour+ the fill up with water
- I've noticed there's only 1 screw (out of 2) keeping the toilet attached the the floor
- the steam from the shower has made the ceiling 'emulsion?' crack and fall off, leaving the main ceiling exposed. This is going to get worse as more steam comes from taking showers.
- there is no door on the gas meter cupboard outside. I added this to the inventory when I checked in, so I'm pretty sure this is the landlord's responsibility
I'm coming to the end of my 1 year AST - both the landlord/letting agent and myself have agreed to renew another 1 year tenancy at the same price etc (with a 6 month break). The rent is probably 5-7% below the going rate for the area in London, so I'm inclined not to annoy the landlord, but at the same time, I asked for the gas meter cupboard door to be put on when I moved in, and it's still not been done.
Just want to make sure these are the landlord responsibility and not mine before I message them.

if the LL chooses not to repair, make sure you take pictures and document in inventory these issues so you are not charged.
Also send letter to LL documenting your concerns and get a proof of posting. So more evidence you brought them to their attention and they just ignore."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Not exactly a long,long road then.....:)0 -
Don't forget about gravity.
I haven't been on the sauce (honestly, guv) but I immediately envisaged a lavatory pan floating off into space with the desperate user clinging on like grim death....:eek:0 -

I know nothing about tenancy agreements, but that doesn't stop others giving an opinion so here goes.
1 Toilet taking an hour to fill - do some checks for youself, google the problem, it may be simple like the valve on the pipe feeding water to the cistern has been closed a bit, or scale build up on the valve in the cistern. If not ask landlord to send a plumber.
2. Maybe you could add a screw yourself, or add it to the plumber job in 1 abaove.
3 Steam from shower, ventilate and heat the bathroom - it's condensation. Does the window have a trickle vent? Do you have an extract fan? Use these or just open the window and turn up the rad in bathroom. This is down to you to stop the condensation and the LL to repair the ceiling.
4 LL to fix missing utility door
Use some common sense and it will all be good. Good luck and Merry Xmas0
