Sadly a lot of people still believe these Euro myths.
The below website lists many of the Euro myths reported in the British press.

Because they have a way better economy than ours.0

Yes of course. When we leave the EU Britannia will rule the waves again.
We will take back the USA and restore all our empire. Then we will get the best CC deals ever.
Exactly. Teresa built as a really nice aircraft carrier, minus the planes. Once again, we'll be able to force China to sell us tea. One aircraft carrier full of Brexit chavs, doesn't need any planes.
We also have an excellent trade deal with the successful economy of Africa. Instead of Mercedes, we'll have African cars instead.
Also, the Muslims will be forced back home to Germany where they came from.0 -
Since when was there an English government?
Last I checked it was in 1707. :rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Note for the thread - I live in the US, but am a UK expat.
Yes, most deals are available here because the interchange fee has not been removed. However, even though there are 0% balance transfer details, nowadays there is mostly a 3% to 5% fee for the amount of the balance transferred.
I do have a premium card, which offers me status with car rental, airline and hotel benefits. Despite there being a $450 fee - I am able to more than recoup the costs of this in the overall benefits package even though I may not use them all.
As people have mentioned before, these are different cards for different markets. There is no shortage of competition here.0 -

That’s a bit behind the times though, we have got about 15 planes now and they signed a deal for about another 15 just this week (at least it was in the news this week).
From what I remember the first planes landed on HMS Queen Elizabeth in September.0
