35k miles in 10 months? 3.5k miles per month? ~160 miles per day? A minimum 1.5 hour each way commute?

I guess that's possible for people living "darn sarf" :)

Actually I live in the North Midlands near M1 J28, but work 3 days a week in Westminster, so 280 miles return 3 days a week.

Driving the EV there saves all the fuel cost, no Congestion Charge when I get there and I dont have to pay to park. Bonkers not to use an EV on that run

And as my Kona does 300 miles on a single charge dont have to stress about charging on the trip. (Although charging out and about is no stress once you get used to doing it)

Had a test drive of the Nissan Leaf last weekend, very impressed with it, but you'd expect that from a £30k car. Got a test drive for the Hyundai Ioniq lined up, it's a toss up between the two I reckon.

If you wait much longer (and you might have months to wait for delivery) you might be able to test drive a Kia Niro EV too, similar to the Kona.

Thanks, the Kona is slightly small in the back, is the Niro bigger?

What I mean is that if the Kona is on your list, the Niro should be too - they're very similar - so without seeing one, I'd imagine it's roughly the same size in the back as the Kona. I've got a Soul EV, and from what I hear of 'Soul People' looking at the Kona, they're roughly the same size overall, with the Soul having more passenger space, and the Kona giving more boot space - choose one. Leaf boot is definitely bigger than that of the Soul EV.
