For the last month my SKY BB has been appalling, constantly dipping and having to re-connect, for the last 3 days I have had no On Demand or Catch Up TV. This is the third day I have called them they are telling me there are no issues?! They have sent out a new router cable.....didn't make a difference. Today at an all time low the download speed was 17 the upload was 9, I'm paying extra for Fibre, I'm so frustrated and not sure what to do now???

What device what connections would be a start.
What does work ?? as this reads as TV not BB/
Most problems are user not ISP .
User needs to check if ISP sends BT OR Tech out its a possible £175 charge.0 -
What speed estimate where you given when signing up?
Is your router connected to the main box or an extension?
Need more info as said.
Sky have checked the line to your address and cant find a problem. That tells me your issue is internal inside your property.0 -
Hi please bare with me as I'm not techy at all so I will answer best I can. BB fibre here can go up to 60 but they told me 41 is minimum. The router is connected to the main box. There are 4 people at home, not overly using stuff to be honest just general browsing, no gaming, or heavy downloading etc. We had a major outage in our area a few weeks ago were a cable was cut, although it was never great before that it has gone worse since. I'm not getting catch up or on demand, the message on my TV is I need to be connected to the internet? Even when the internet goes off the 3 green lights are still on my router. Hope this helps.0

How are you connecting to TV wifi or Ethernet cable .
What about other devices and using the Internet do they work ??
Starting point has to be what speed do you get at the router .0
