It’s been a busy couple of days we visited the in laws yesterday who are 2 hours drive each way but it’s always nice to visit them, it does take them a while to relax and unwind thou, it was a long drive back in the fog, but just infront of a motorway closure.
I’m having one of those days where nothing is quite working, I phoned to sort out some internet banking, but their computers were down. I then checked another account to find Mr T have charged me twice, I don’t have the receipt so I hope that the account print out will be enough proof, it’s charged me once on the day fine, and now 2 weeks later it’s charged me again for the same date and same amount, I remember asking are you sure it hasn’t charged twice ohhh no it didn’t take it. Useless I really don’t like that place.
This evening I’ve set to on the kitchen, I’ve sugar soaped some wall, I still have 2 corners to get to and the rest of the ceiling to do tomorrow but the arms are aching a tad tonight.0 -
Just popping to read the rest of today's posts .
csarina - I'm not surprised that you were 'crackered' earlier today - just reading about your morning had me 'puffing and panting'
.
whiteguinea - I agree that Speky's not quite sounding his usual self
. Must be that all this 'living out of a suitcase' is getting to him. Not easy until you've got your 'proper life' around you :undecided:.
ancientofdays - good idea about the Travelodge. I've always found them clean and comfortable, even if a bit basic.
nannywindows - enjoy your Car Boot Sale tomorrow morning - hope it raises lots of £££s.
Finally got my Flu Jab earlier today from the 'Health Care Professional' - followed by BP check off the GP . To be honest, it wasn't as bad as it has been in the past ....................... but still not too good
.
Bumped into my lovely friend from church who was telling me that hers has come down quite a bit by going onto Decaffe Coffee instead of ordinary coffee. So I've decided to do the same - can't hurt to try. I've got some really good quality stuff, that tastes just as good as 'normal coffee'.
Rounded off with a visit to the shopping centre in the next town to where I live - that's where ASDA is - so had a little 'whoopsie haul' of courgettes, GF Bread, 4 tins of Tuna for £2.50 (from £5).
Jacket Spuds for evening meal tonight - OH had Tuna/Red Onion/Red Pepper/Mayo on his and I had Coleslaw with Spread Cheese on mine.
Due for a visit from DS1 and DGS3 in the morning - that'll be lovely, as I've not seen them for quite a while.
Off to bed in a few minutes - absolutely shattered tonight. Left arm muscle is beginning to ache from the Flu Jab - nurse said it was the 'Extra Strength One' as I'm over 65. How kind of her
