Being taken to County Court - Parking Eye

I had a parking ticket that was £60 then went up to £100 now I've received a county court letter.
They are claiming
£100,
Court fee £25
Legal representative's cost £50
Total £175

I had a training course at a Hilton Hotel, the receptionists said it was fine to park there but I'm not sure if she understood what I was saying to be honest.

Do I have to pay this?
It's £175 and it's Christmas, my wife has cancer and we really don't need this right now, if I have to pay then my kids won't be getting Christmas presents this year, feeling a bit lost, please help.

Have you read the newbies thread ?

It's a scare letter , is it actually a court letter or are they claiming they will take you to court

  • It's actually a court letter, had the 'we will take you to court' letter already.
  • Actually I think it's a fake, I have to send the documents to parking eye not the court which is off and I found a guy on youtube saying it's fake. Can't post a link for some reason but google Northampton NOT a County Court Business Centre and it's the same letter as he has.

We've never seen a fake claim from Parking Eye. What makes you say you have to send stuff to PE?

Does the claim have no claim number top right?
I found a guy on youtube saying it's fake.
    Really...hmmm...

    OK I found it.

He is a Freedom of the Land idiot.

I just watched a minute of his utter drivel and switched off. ABSOLUTE LIABILITIES these FMOTL clueless looneys.

Surely you are not so credulous as to believe a total mad person like that?! Hahahaha, of course it's a real claim.

Please read some SENSIBLE advice on how to defend the claim you have there, in the NEWBIES thread.

  • It say I have to send the documents to Parking eye, I 'm just unsure why I'd submit a counterclaim to the defendant? Surely my counterclaim should go to a court?
I'm very confused what to do so any help would be appreciated.

As I already told you. Stop trying to write things in the defence box on the papers.
