Anyone cancelled ID Mobile contract mid-term?

Hi folks,
Just wodnering if anyone has cancelled an ID Mobile contract mid-term? If you did, did they deduct VAT from the cancellation charge which should be the remaining term x the monthly line rental?
Their T&Cs are aren't specific and only state that the cancellation cost will be "minus our avoided costs" which should therefore include VAT.
