Thanks for all the help I thought that I was going mad earlier as its been a long day working and then this. I will not stop though until i get to the end of this as I'm very proud of my credit file having spent years making sure it's squeaky clean.0

In your case it’s either an old debt long forgotten about, where all correspondence has gone to the old address, a case of identity fraud, or it’s simply not your debt but has somehow been linked to you, or something you have not been aware of like a parking ticket or speeding fine.
The court will be able to tell you more.
yup Mrs May promised this when the daily mail brought up stories and challenged her , but like most things in life and chip papers it was quickly forgotten about
UNLESS you can link to any updates on this? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3786132/I-ll-end-credit-rating-scandal-pledges-PM-acts-Mail-exposes-rulings-ruined-lives.html
I accept that you wrote about default CCJs , however I am scratching my head getting around the "statute barred" comment , as this would circumvent the Limitation Act 1980. and could only happen id the company lied on there court claim0 -

Utility company then?

Again thanks for all your help I'm going to call the court this morning. I haven't lived at the address since June 2011 so that's just over seven years. I have changed my cars since then. I pay all my bills and I don't owe anyone any money so it'll be interesting to hear what the court says.0

This happens regularly, if a case is undefended and default judgment granted then it is never actually seen by a judge or even anybody with any legal qualifications so nobody would ever see the dates quoted and realise that it was actually statute barred.
No need for the company to lie on the claim form.0 -
Okay so I got through to the County Court Business centre. I was 19th in the Q at one point but they did answer pretty quickly so they must have a lot of staff. Anyway all she could tell me was that it's in relation to a parking ticket. I dont have any cars registered to that address for years. The company is called Civil Enforcement Ltd and wait for it they have an 0870 premium rate number to call to find out more. I'm thinking my best bet now is to call the police as I have never had any parking tickets from anyone that I haven't paid.
I'm also going to apply to have it set aside0 -
do dont calkl police at this point , look at https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=163 and you will see this is happening every day , look at daily court lists and look at number of daily setasides http://www.parkingappeals.info/court.html
did you get the particulars of claim , when the incident iks supposed to have happened and to which address it was sent
EDIT:
I now see that you say you have lives at address for 7 yrs , not 10 as previously stated
vehicles , how many since moving there? and more importantly , did you inform DVLA of change of address on V% when you moved0 -

The police don't intervene on civil mattersI'm thinking my best bet now is to call the police as I have never had any parking tickets from anyone that I haven't paid.
I'm also going to apply to have it set aside
So don't waste time calling them
This is a private parking invoice that it looks you knew nothing about due to you not notifying DVLA as soon as you moved
Consequently they won a default CCJ against you0
