Question about popla/IAS

Hey all

Just a question about the popla/IAS appeal thing.

I'm sort of confused about what the difference is between them? And am I supposed to get a IAS/popla code after appealing for the first time?

Any answers would be great thanks :)

The NEWBIES answers these questions, but it would help if you told us the name of the PPC.

IAS means Independent Appeals Service. This could be either the BPA version, which is PoPLA, or it could be the IPC version, confusingly called IAS, or it could be The Ombudsman Service, but neither ATA uses them.

From the OP's earlier thread, the PPC is National Parking Enforcement Ltd.

In that case Mrwilson, please post your questions on your original thread and let this one die.

POPLA is for BPA members and most of them are now scammers

IPC is a scam set up by Gladstones solicitors

If the parking company is not on the BPA list .....
    https://www.britishparking.co.uk/BPA-Approved-Operators

they will be the scam IPC
  • Wow you people are fast on this,

So as National parking enforcement is an IPC member I wouldnt be appealing to popla I should instead just ignore anything until court papers come through?

I think I get it now and ill post on my first thread if I think of any other questions.
