Euro parking charge

Hi I need some advice if possible I have recently received a euro car parking charge for £85 this is due to me parking on a pub car park, I didn't realise that the parking thing was on there and the pub we actually entered didn't instruct me of this, I have since found out that in the pub you are meant to record your car registration on a tablet of some sort so they don't fine you but I've never been in this pub before or the area and wasn't aware of it and I wasn't told when I was in the pub. The letter is addressed to the registered keeper of the car and it doesn't have proof of the driver, it has sent me pictures of the number plate and the time of entry and exit there was also no pay and display please can I have some advice on whether I need to pay this or not

No, you do not pay, as it is not a fine.
It may seem overwhelming, but please take a good read of the newbies thread, and then come back.
But just before you do that, are you familiar with the pub?
where was/is this pub?
Also do not give any indication as to who the driver could have been, no I parked, She parked, my brother parked, my mum parked, wife, sister etc etc, always the vehicle parkedFrom the Plain Language Commission:

What's the name of the parking company?
Euro Car Parks Ltd or Euro Parking Services Ltd
Two different entities which need treating differently.0 -
No I've never been to this pub before it's in Winsford in Cheshire and it's called the Wharton Park it's a pizza and carvery place. The letter is from euro Car Parks Limited. It states that my car was not authorised to park there in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the signage the parking charge is now payable to euro Car Parks. It states you are notified under the paragraph 9 2 b of schedule 4 of the protection of freedoms act 2012 that the driver of the motor vehicle is required to pay this parking charge in full as we do not know the driver's name or current postal address if you were not the driver at the time you should tell us the name and address of the driver and pass this notice to them. It says we are using cameras to capture images of vehicles entering and leaving the car park to calculate the length of stay the signage which is clearly displayed at the entrance to and throughout the car park states at this is private land the car park is managed by euro car parks and sets out the terms and conditions of the car park by which those who park their agreed to be bound the parking charge notice has been issued as the vehicle was in breach.0

You need to send the already written for you blue text appeal that you will find in post #1 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.
Send it unchanged - no additions or alterations necessary.
Send it as the keeper.0 -
Is that this one?
PCN number:!
I dispute your 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny any liability or contractual agreement. There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn.!
Since your PCN is a vague template, I require all photos taken, a clear image of the signage and an explanation of the allegation (e.g. if you have identified a wrong VRN input at a machine, say so, and explain why your Data Protection Officer has not simply rectified it, rather than trying to punish a driver for a matter where there is nothing to deter).!
I will be making a formal complaint about your predatory conduct to your client landowner and to my MP, appraising all parties of the debate where Parliament agreed:!''we need to crack down on these rogue companies. They are an absolute disgrace to this country. Ordinary motorists...should not have to put up with this''.!Firms of your ilk were unanimously condemned as operating an 'outrageous scam' (Hansard 2.2.18). The BPA & IPC were heavily criticised; hardly surprising for an industry where so-called AOS members admit to letting victims 'futilely go through the motions' of appeal and that 'we make it up most of the time' (BBC Watchdog).!
Formal note:
Should you later pursue this charge by way of litigation, note that service of any legal documents by email is expressly disallowed and you are not entitled to assume that the data in this dispute/appeal remains the current address for service.
Yours faithfully,!0 -
Tell me: how many blue text appeals did you find in that psot?0
-
I've not done this before and have not received a parking fine before so apologies for being a bit naive about it I just wanted to check this was the right one because a lot of questions are also in blue text0
