Brittania PCN for lease hirer

Afternoon All,

Having read through the newbies thread and several posts ensuring I start an own thread, here goes nothing.

Brittania sent a final reminder notice to lease company after a month from the contravention. Lease company respond to Brittania within 2 weeks and subsequently inform me of development.
Brittania then send PCN to hirer's address within 7 days of being informed by lease company. Brittania also attach Lease company's letter informing them of the new address and holding no liability.

I would appreciate your assistance in getting one over Brittania.

Towards the bottom of that post there is good guidance on how a hirer/lessee should appeal, together with templates.

This is an easy win for a hirer as the PPC will not have sent you all the documents they should've done.

The Newbies' thread covers how to proceed with hire car PCNs. There are no templates for appealing to the parking company on the thread, but there are links to a few examples. So first step is to send an appeal to Britannia, choosing 'hirer/lessee' on the drop down menu.

However, assuming Britannia have not complied with POFA (and I gather that parking companies hardly ever do comply when sending Notices to Hirer), it is advisable to wait till day 21 after the Parking Company were notified of the Hirer's details by the Hire company. From what you say, that would be in 14 days time.
