I re-invest my premium bond prizes in more bonds. Would there be any advantage in combining all prizes to date in one large bond?

No. All bonds are individual and £1 each. So large bonds don't exist.
Plus if you cashed in and re-bought you would have at least one month when the bonds would not be in the draw.I am not a cat (But my friend is)0 -
I agree with your conclusions but NS&I do confusingly refer to blocks of £1 bonds as a (large) bond sometimes, as seen at the high-value winners section at https://www.nsandi.com/prize-checker, where the winner of a £1m prize did so with a £1,000 'bond value' (as a separate concept from their total holding). All bonds are individual and £1 each. So large bonds don't exist.0
